Our drawings are extensive and detailed. We go to these lengths to be sure that the specific needs of our clients are met, and that those needs are properly communicated to assure consistent and competitive bidding and to minimize error during construction.  Often projects will require significant municipal approvals.  Whether it is a zoning variance, architectural review boards or historic preservation, we have established a good rapport with the local municipalities and have the experience to streamline that process.

While alway listening to our clients specific desires first, we practice seamless design. The new construction is designed to be indistinguishable within the context of its immediate environment. An addition should blend naturally with the character of the existing home and new construction should relate appropriately to the surrounding community. We have found that this approach provides the highest value, return and overall satisfaction for our clients. In addition, we continue to develop the integration of “green” building products and practices to maximize energy and construction efficiencies, as well as incorporating the latest advancements in technology for the project.

We design all interior spaces to achieve a seamless integration of specific materials and proper execution of precise details.  In collaboration with our clients, we select, specify and schedule all moldings, fixtures, lighting, hardware, appliances, stone, tile or any other materials required to satisfy our client’s needs. We provide detailed information as to the design of all cabinetry and finishes, including kitchen, entertainment, bookcases, vanities, mantles, etc.  resulting in a completely designed and resolved product. 

Design/Build
Streightiff + Associates offer a streamlined design/build approach, which allows you to have the same team guide you through each stage of the project. We will manage every detail of the project from the architectural process, municipal board reviews, permits, competitive bidding, construction management and administration, final completion, and warranty. Because it is our responsibility to coordinate these, budgets and timelines are integrated throughout the process ensuring that your wishes are understood and executed from beginning to end.
